Job Posting: Victim Services Coordinator
Location: Yellowknife, NT
The Native Women’s Association of the NWT is seeking a Victim Services Coordinator to lead and deliver support services to victims of crime and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise staff and volunteers
- Oversee program administration, reporting, and budgeting
- Provide crisis intervention, client support, and court assistance
- Build partnerships and promote services in the community
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 3–5 years relevant experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and community resources
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive situations
Salary:
Starting at $35/hour, negotiable based on qualifications and experience
Working Conditions:
Office-based in Yellowknife; occasional overtime and on-call required
